The Compozers Encore Sessions – Wizkid Edition

London based live band The Compozers have released the latest addition to their Encore sessions and it’s none other than Mr WizKid.

The band brings their own flavour to several WizKid tracks.

My favourite has to be their cover of Wizkid and LAX’s “Ginger”.. It’s dope!

Check it out!

P.S Stay tuned for our review on the FuseODG show (in which The Compozers were the live band) that took place last week at The Garage Highbury & Islington.

Specials: Destination Africa – 1Xtra Live Lounge

DJ Edu ft Da Suspect – DNA Anthem

Last week DJ Edu and BBC 1Xtra celebrated some of the hottest music coming out of Africa with Destination Africa. The week long special was packed with Live Lounge performances, remixes and also featured a special guest mix from DJ Neptizzle.

I was well chuffed and I heard so much positive feedback from people who have never listened to Afrobeats before.

If nobody has already, I would like to thank DJ Edu and BBC 1Xtra for the platform and opportunity to showcase African talent.

The Takeover Continues!
