Mr Eazi continues to drop videos for tracks off his Lagos to Accra mixtape this time releasing the visuals for Feelings. The video was shot in South Africa by Uprooted Media.
Check it out…
Earlier this year Mr Eazi released his highly anticipated Lagos To Accra Mixtape and one of my personal favourites was this single Business featuring Mugeez of R2Bees. The track was produced by none other than KillBeatz and looks to be shot on location somewhere in South Africa.
Mr Eazi is another one of my favourites out now. When are we getting that Tekno x Mr Eazi collaboration that they were teasing us with because I am ready!
Check out the video below..
There is no denying 2016 has been Mr Eazi’s year and by the looks of it, he is shows no sign of slowing down.
This time he hooks up with DJ Neptune for the single Marry. The video was shot in Lagos, Nigeria and directed by guess who..? Mr Clarence Peters!
I really love this fine line Mr Eazi walks mixing English with Twi.. It’s just so sweet to my ears!
It’s your boy Eaziiii
You can almost guarantee a hit is to follow when you hear that line.
DJ Spinall links up with the man of the moment Mr Eazi for his new single Ohema. I see so many comments and the back and forth of people wanting to claim mr Eazi, yes he is Nigerian and yes he resides in Ghana. Does it matter? West Africa wins either way!
Check out the visual which was directed by UAImages below..
The Nominations are in!
2016 has by no doubt been a good year for Afrobeats. If I am honest I feel like 2015 was a little bit weak (my opinion) for the genre however 2016 has seen a little bit of a shake and I am quite pleased with the direction in which the music has begun to take again. The 2016 MOBO Nominations have officially been announced today and boy oh boy is the Best African Act packed full!
Now, I’ve got to hand it to the new additions to the MOBO committee, I think they pretty much got this category right (I speak for this one as this is my strong point lol) bar maybe one or two. All 10 of the nominees have had a pretty good year music wise and deserve the recognition be it the rise of Mr Eazi, the introduction to Eugy, the chart domination from Wizkid (it does not matter how small his feature was on One Dance, he still has a number one single), the force that is Olamide, the control of Tekno, the US tour from Tiwa or the takeover of Kwamz & Flava (See what I did there? hehehe).
Now that the nominations are out it’s up to you the fans to select your final five acts and your winner for this category.
You have until the 17th of October to get this list down from ten acts to five final nominees and then I am assuming you will have to pick your final winner out of the 5 after this date.
Get to it guys! I cannot lie to you.. This will be a tricky one for me!

Alright Alright.. I am about 2 weeks late on this one.. But only because I thought the dance video was going to remain the official video!
Eugy and Mr Eazi have finally released the official video for the popular summer track Dance For Me. The single that got picked up by Universal Music was produced by UK based collective Team Salut and directed by Vertex and Gabriella Kingsley. Check it out..
Don’t forget to support the single.. It’s available everywhere!
I already told you guys earlier about the new dangerous trio that is Dj Juls, Mr Eazi and Eugy. The three of them have managed to drum up plenty of excitement in Afrobeats again and I for one am here for it. Thanks to Apple Music I have had this track on repeat and now that it is up on Soundcloud I can share it with you all. BBnZ Dj/Producer Juls hits up Mr Eazi and Eugy as well as Ghana’s finest MC Sarkodie for single Teef Teef. Juls manages to fuse old school sounds with the drum kits of modern music and make a track that balances the nostalgic feel good factor of old school Hi-life and modern day Afrobeats (Has more of a hip hop sound than an Afrobeats sound but for the sake of the genre we will call it Afrobeats.. or should we call it Hip-Life? or maybe Afro-Hip-Life, Afrobeats-HipHop? What genre would this fall under lol).
Take a listen and let me know what you think..
There’s honestly no stopping Mr Eazi, on this roll that he is on. Check out the video for his latest release Anointing ft Sarkodie. The single was produced by Juls and Team Salut and the video was directed by Alexx Adjei.
On another note Mr Eazi will be doing his first major show in London THIS Friday (22nd July) at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend as I have prior arrangements (Gutted as I also missed his first intimate show) however I know it will be DOPE. You can get tickets from Here .
Soo.. I want to do an actual blog post on the team that is Mr Eazi, DJ Juls & Eugy and how they have breathed new life into Afrobeats.. But whilst I think of the wording and what exactly I am going to say let me post all the videos that have come out of the camp during my small hiatus. Mr Eazi is actually the best thing to happen to Afrobeats in the past year in all honesty.. But before I go into stan mode let me post..
There is no denying this man has the SAUCE. Check out the visual for his popular single Hollup ft JoeyB. The video features cameos from the likes of Eugy, Dj Juls, DJ Sawa, Maleekberry and Big Tippa to name a few. The video was shot here in London but I am not too sure who it was directed by.
