High Grade Family’s Kofi Kinaata had one of the biggest tracks this past Christmas in Ghana with his hit single Confession. Now fresh off his win at this years Ghana Music Awards (Where he scooped up three wins) and his successful show in London alongside Kwabena Kwabena he finally releases the visual for the popular single.

The video was directed by Yaw Skyface and features cameo appearances from Kwaw Kesse, Koo Fori and Samini.

If you understand the lyrics you will know that the visual is PERFECT.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2014

The 15th annual Ghana Music Awards took place this past Saturday the 3rd May and saw performances from the likes of Castro The Destroyer, Bisa Kdei, Davido, Sarkodie (Who brought out Mr Tonga, Joey B), Sonnie Badu, Iyanya and Kwabena Kwabena to name a few. The biggest of the night was the noticeably but unsurprisingly absent  Mr Shatta Wale who bagged three awards and Sarkodie who took home four. The show also had a major surprise when Ghanaian tailor and Big Brother Africa star Elikim Kumordzie dropped to one knee and proposed to girlfriend and fellow Big Brother Africa star Pokello Nare in the middle of the Best Collaboration nomination. Even though the show started ridiculously late and seemed to be a little unorganised (Loads of stopping at the start of performances, technical errors and a ridiculous amount of heckling from the crowd) I will say my favourite performances of the night were Iyanya, Castro, Sonnie Badu and Kwabena Kwabena.

I was also pleased at the fact that there was a live stream sponsored by Star Beer for the first time however I hope next year they will get a stream with great quality.. The stream was terrible!

New Music: Shatta Wale – Letter to Charter House (Part 2)

There’s no denying that Shatta Wale has had an amazing year so it was only right that he scooped up three awards at this years Vodafone Ghana Music Awards however if you watched the show you would know that he was noticeably absent.  This was not a surprise to many as the artist declared war on Charter House last year for not winning any awards. Shatta has never been one to shy away from his feelings and he took to the studio to express exactly why he was absent this year.
